The Sprint event is for competitors age 15 and above and involves:
- A 750m (30 lengths) swim in the 5 lane 25m pool. Lane order is sorted based on the estimated swim times submitted by participants. Transition is within the Sport Centre car park.
- A 24km cycle on open country roads. Starts with a modest initial climb followed by twice around a mainly flat loop and a downhill return to transition.
- A 4.9km run which is a loop that takes you out of Cupar toward the west, down a farm road and then back to transition via a country road and the rugby pitches. Please note this route is mixed terrain. The finishers funnel will be in front of the Duffus Park Grandstand.
