There will be toilets in the start/finish area.
This race is cupless, meaning that whilst we will provide water at the designated water stations, we will not be giving out plastic cups to reduce our waste. Our marshals will be happy to fill your own bottles or cups with water during the race.
If you require any further information do not hesitate to contact the organisers
Total distance out and back is 33 miles.
There may be a surprise awaiting you at the end!!! Or the middle???
No entry conditions apply, if you think you can then enter and do it.
If you get half way and find you can't, phone registration with your race number, tell them you are a loser and take the bus home.
Support, there is none required but if you want your mum to meet you half way with a jam sandwich then thats ok with us.
Three checkpoints, quarter way, half way and 3/4 way.
You get water at checkpoint and you can also have (depending on COVID guidelines) a very very small drop bag for each checkpoint marked with your race number and the location the drop bag is to go to, ie quarter, half or 3/4 way checkpoint.
Cut offs - This is a race for runners, 3/4 point cut off is 1:30PM
Because it is Scotland and because the race is in March the weather can be very changeable, due to this there will be a minimum kit requirement of hat, gloves, full waterproofs (jacket and trousers) and a foil blanket. No kit = no race, no exceptions. You don't want to be sitting at the side of the course in your simmit and short shorts in the oorlich getting drookit and crabbit.
