Coventry Triathletes – Sprint Triathlon

400M POOL SWIM - 20K BIKE - 5K RUN

Course:

• Start and End: XCEL Leisure Centre, Coventry (what3words: ///camps.descended.test)
• The swim is in a 25 metre indoor pool (no backstroke & no tumble turns)
• The bike is a two lap marshalled course on public roads
• The run is mainly on pathways with a small section on grass.

Entries:

Entries for the event will close when full or two weeks prior to the event and there will be no waiting list

T-Shirt sizes are ordered based on entries, thus swaps and size changes on the day are unlikely. You can also choose 'No T-Shirt' and the cost will be donated to charity of our choosing after the event.

Insurance & Race Pass

All participants require either a British Triathlon Membership or a Race Pass valid on the event date. 

• Non British Triathlon Members: A British Triathlon race pass will be automatically added to your race entry
• British Triathlon members: You will need to show proof of membership at registration. If you cannot provide proof of a current membership you'll need to purchase a race pass or forfiet your entry without refund.

Volunteers

Volunteers are vital to the success of the event and we need just over 70 people. If you'd like to volunteer get in touch using the email option to contact the organiser. 

Registration:

Registration will be at the Xcel Centre on Saturday (day before) between 3pm & 5pm and on race day morning. If registering on the morning of the event please register at least an hour before your start time.

Refunds & Deferrals

We understand very occasionally it may be necessary for you to withdraw or transfer your entry. To ensure fairness between all competitors our transfer and withdrawal policy below ​will be strictly ​applied in all cases and no exceptions ​will be made for illness, injury or pregnancy.

• Entry ​fees are non-refundable.
• Entry can be deferred to the following year’s event. Should you be unable to take part or the event is cancelled, no further deferrals are allowed, and the entry is forfeited.

Race Packs / Additional Information

Race packs will not be posted or sent out. All race information will be available on the website www.covtri.co.uk approximately one week before the event date;

Initial race start times will be uploaded during the week before the event and may be revised throughout the week. Please check the updated list before coming to registration on the Saturday or Sunday.
