The races are run under UK Athletics Rules and are a Scottish athletics permit events.

Entry details and results will be shared with Scottish Athletics.

ONLINE ENTRY ONLY WITH NO ENTRY ON THE DAY (with the exception of the toddler dash).

This year again there will be a toddler dash for the young (100 metres).No need to register.It is free to enter. Just turn up and run.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Race Numbers to be collected on the day at East Kilbride Sports Club (within Calderglen Country Park) from 4pm until 15 mins before each race start time.

The route is suitable for trail or road shoes (not suitable for spikes). The course is not suitable for Wheelchair Athletes. Running with dogs is prohibited. 

The course will be fully marshalled. The safety of all is paramount and it is a condition of entry that competitors must follow the instructions of the marshals at all times.

Medals will be given to all finishers in the 1k and 3k.

This year we have again taken the environmentally conscious decision not to offer T Shirts or Medals to athletes running the 5k and the 10k. Every year 300,000 tonnes of clothing heads to landfill in the UK. The high plastic content of sportswear means that it can persist for centuries. 

We hope that you will understand and support this decision. Instead we have decided to keep the cost of entry to our races as low as possible. Times are tough, and race entries can be expensive. We'd like to continue to buck that trend.

For your entry fee we can guarantee you a fantastic night of trail running in a beautiful setting....oh, and we'll throw in our legendary Calderglen after race buffet in the Sports Club.

Parking is available in Colonsay field at the entrance to the park.There is no capacity to park within the park itself. Please car share if at all possible.

£1 from all 5k and 10k Entries will be donated to Deafblind Scotland.
