Bromyard Round the Downs 2026

We are thrilled to welcome you to the Bromyard Round the Downs event! Whether you are challenging yourself in the 10km race or supporting the junior runners, it’s set to be another exciting year with stunning views and a fun, community focused atmosphere.

Location - The event is located at Bromyard Rugby Club, Tenbury Road, Bromyard, Herefordshire, HR7 4LW.

Entries – Entries close at 11.59pm on the 25^th June 2026. Subject to availability there will be on the day entries available for an additional cost. To avoid missing out we recommend signing up in advance.

Parking - There is limited parking available but please car share if possible. Marshals will assist with parking and direct you to overflow parking, if necessary, which is just a short walk to the rugby club.

Chip Timing – The 10km and Junior 2km races are both chip timed using ankle tags. These will be collected upon registration along with your numbered bib and are to be worn on either ankle.

Race Bibs – Race bibs are not transferable; you must not run with another person’s bib number.

Photography – A photographer will be on site to capture the action! Photos will be published on our social media after the event.

If you prefer not to appear in any photos, please mark a red cross on your running bub with the provided red marker pen.

Facilities – There will be toilets available on site.

Food and Vendors – Origin Pizza will be on site serving hot, delicious food for all to enjoys.

BB King Whippy will be offering ice cream to keep you cool after the race.

All participants will received complimentary homemade cake at the finish line.

Raffle – We are excited to offer a raffle with local prizes. Keep an eye on our social media channels for prize announcements and details of how you can get involved.

Insurance – The event is covered by Event Insurance Services UK for your safety and peace of mind.

Safety – Marshals will be stationed throughout the route for guidance and support. The event will take place regardless of weather conditions.

First Aid – Bromyard First Responders will be on site, providing first aid assistance if needed. Marshals will also be stationed along the route for any medical emergencies.

Results – Results will be available shortly after the race on the event social media sites and at www.readysetgotiming.co.uk  

Data Protection – We respect your privacy. Personal data collected during registration will be used for event-related communication, results and safety purposes only. Participant names, club details, categories, and finish times may be published publicly in start lists and results.

Refunds – As this is a fundraising event, no refunds will be issued. Transfers are allowed by completing a change of person request through entry central up until 7 days before entries close.
