Bennachie Summer Series

5k trail race on the forest tracks at the base of Bennachie held on the second Thursday of the month starting May - August 2026 @ 19:00 - Approx. 126m elevation 

Registration & race start at the Bennachie Visitor Centre.

Prizes. 

Top three finishers

Entries are £18 (+4% Admin Fee) for the entire series. NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY.  Online entries close on Tuesday 12th May 2026 at midnight.

All runners must be 18 or over on race day.

Registration. All runners must register and collect their bib number by 18:45.

Kit. Appropriate footwear / kit should be worn to suit the terrain & weather on the day of each event. 

Water stations. There will be limited water available at the finish.

Parking. Parking available at Visitor Centre, we do not have exclusive use of the car park and participants are responsable for indivdual parking charges.

Course. There will be course markings on the route. Toilets will be available at the start/finish.

Medical Conditions. Participants should make the race organisers aware of any existing medical conditions. Any required medication should be brought along to the event and carried by the participant during the race.

Headphones. Headphones are not permitted during the race.

Dogs. Dogs not permitted

The race is run under Scottish Hill Runners guidelines and rules. Participants are responsible for familiarising themselves with these guidelines and rules a copy can be found on the Scottish Hill Runners website.
