Kick off the new year with the traditional 2nd January Social Run! Join the Lauderdale Limpers, Gala Harriers, and guests for a friendly run along the beautiful Southern Upland Way.

When: 10:00 AM, Thursday, 2nd January 2025
Starting Point: Sports Pavilion Lauder. (Next to the football pitch. Nearest post code to start TD2 6AD)

Details:

1. Main Route: 10 miles starting from sports pavilion Lauder and finishing at the new venue of Melrose Bowling Club, Weirhill, Melrose, TD6 9S, where tea, coffee, and bacon/egg rolls await.
2. Alternative Starting Points:
   • Moss Houses (4 miles)
   • Blue Cairn (6 miles)
   • Or, double the fun with an 8:00 AM start at Gibson Park, Melrose.

Cost: £6.50 per person (pre-entry only). This helps us plan catering numbers. In case of cancellation due to weather, we will donate the funds to a suitable local charity.

Important Notes:

• Entries close: 27th December 2024 (via Entry Central).
• Kit Requirement: Carry full waterproofs, a fully charged mobile phone, and food.
• Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements to/from the event.
