The Bert Bailey Memorial Vet's 100
01 Jul 18
This well established event challenges riders aged 50 years and above to cycle our traditional and mostly flat 100 mile course through Cheshire and N. Wales, at a sociable pace. Riders are in small groups allocated by the organiser but please let us know if there is someone you particularly wish to ride with (tandem riders-please indicate this and give name of partner). Each group is to be led by an experienced ride leader who knows the course and looks after the group---additional navigation not needed. We have brief tea stops morning and afternoon; main stop for lunch halfway round.
Start/finish is Duddon and Clotton Village Hall, Willington Road, Tarporley. (Nr Chester) CW6 0HD
We welcome all cyclists aged 50years and above to this event. You are responsible for using a bicycle in safe, rideable condition. Please note that a minimum of a full rear mudguard is required on your bike. (otherwise entry is to be refused and entry fee forfeited). Front mudguards optional.
You do not have to be a member of Cycling UK although we encourage you to join our national organisation www.cyclinguk.org.uk.
