The Ring 100
30 Apr 30
Welcome to The Ring 100, the second of the horrific ultra running series. The full course is a circular route following the Leicestershire Round long distance path. At approximately 102 miles and with one or two climbs, including taking you by Old John, this is not to be taken lightly. The "short" course is a point to point route following the Leicestershire Round long distance path and costs £10 less and includes return shuttle to the start bookable on registration. At approximately 102 km it is still a good test for all but more experienced ultra runners and also passes Old John.
Important note: the majority of the course is off road, some road sections and there are multiple road crossings. Care must be taken at all times, you are resonsible for your own safety. Please ensure your race number is on your front and that you have been checked in at each aid station. There is a 30 hour cut-off and will be one or two other cut-offs for your safety. There will be a required kit list which must be carried from start to finish. All full distance runners must have completed a foot race of at least 50 miles before taking part in The Ring 100 within three years of the event, note this isn't required before entering. All 102km runners must have completed a foot race of at least 26 miles before taking part in The Ring 100 within three years of the event, note this isn't required before entering.
Results will be available online as soon as possible after the event. We will always aim to have provisional results published within 24 hours.
