STORM THE FORT DUATHLON............... The UK's Toughest Long Course Duathlon

Storm The Fort is a duathlon set in the untouched village of Clun, Shropshire. The event offers a very tough challenge to athletes of all abilities that are looking for a serious multisport race. The first run takes athletes on a tough hilly course that summits at Bury Ditches, an Iron Age Fort that offers views for miles and miles in every direction. The bike route crosses the English/Welsh border and includes a few genuinely tough climbs with steep, steep inclines that drain the legs. The second run stays closer to Clun but is certainly not flat.

Distances are:

Run 1 = 20km

Bike = 95km

Run 2 = 12km

All distances are approximate, routes have been mapped using GPS. The organisers reserve the right to change routes if necessary.

The event will be conducted under British Triathlon rules and regulations.

Entry is limited to those aged 18 and above on race day.

There IS a Relay option available for this race. Relay teams can comprise of either 2 or 3 athletes and can be mixed gender if desired.

Entry will be online only, there will be no entry available on race day.

Storm The Fort operates a paperless system, all pre race information will be sent to athletes via email and we ask that you check the website regularly for any news. We will also post updates on our facebook page so ensure you have 'liked' us.
