You are signing up for Forth Canoe Club's POOL sessions for the winter term 2019
Your sessions are Sundays 6.05-7.05pm, this is a POOL session with an instructor designed to help you improve skills/play - for Junior (age 8-12) paddlers.
This is a 5 week course at a cost of £25.
The sessions start on Sunday 3rd March 2019, the other dates are:

17th March 2019
24th March 2019
31st March 2019
What will I learn at this session?
These sessions are designed to help you learn how to roll your kayak. In addition extra coaching may be provided to embed skills such as support strokes. You will be coached at these sessions.
What is the cost?
Each term costs £25.

When to arrive
The coaches will be at the venue 15 minutes before the session is due to start but will be busy setting up boats for the session to begin promptly at the advertised time. Please ensure you are changed and ready to start the session on time. Please be aware that the coaches cannot take responsibility for you before the start time of the session.
What to bring with you
Please bring your swimming kit, towel etc. You may find a nose clip useful for learning to roll and also you may find goggles useful. If you have a shorty wetsuit or rash vest you may want to bring these too.
Why do I have to fill in all these forms?
We appreciate it takes time to complete the forms but we have a requirement to provide our coaches with up to date information about the students they will be coaching - their needs, medical issues and emergency details - please work with us to give our coaches the information they need.
Please be aware that like most sport, canoeing involves a certain amount of risk of physical injury. In order to book on a course you will be asked to accept our terms and conditions and agree to the following:
As part of the sign up process you will be asked to confirm you are the parent or legal guardian of this paddler (if under 18) and will be asked to give consent for Forth Canoe Club to act on your behalf in the event of an incident or illness affecting the paddler (note that grandparents and other relatives can not provide consent for under 18's).
As part of the sign up process you will be asked to give consent for you or, where the paddler is under 18, your child to be treated by a trained first aider and/or medical professional, should this be necessary.
As part of the sign up process you will also be asked to give consent for you or, where the paddler is under 18, your child to participate in all the activities involved in this course, and understand there is a degree of risk involved in these activities.
Forth Canoe Club will keep a record of members’ names and addresses and contact details on a computer accessible to the Forth Canoe Club Committee. Your record may be inspected by contacting the Membership Secretary. We are affiliated to the SCA and will pass on your data for insurance and membership statistics use.
