Scottish Universities Tri Training Day
19 Oct 16
We are proud to present you the inaugural Scottish Universities Tri Training Day in partnership with Battle Oats. The event will take place on Wednesday the 19th of October at the University of Stirling, running from 11am to 4pm. The day will be composed of three main training sessions across the three disciplines of triathlon, swimming, cycling and running. All of our sessions are coached by highly qualified triathlon coaches, some of whom represented GB at the recent Triathlon World Championships in Mexico this summer, so we are super excited to have them on board for this event.
We are also delighted to announce that we will have a guest speaker in the form of Nikki Bartlett. Nikki is a pro triathlete who races at middle/long distance events. This year she has podiumed in races such as Ironman Wales and Ironman 70.3 Stafford and raced in the 70.3 World Championships in Australia. Once a student Nikki is going to share some of her experiences of her student life and triathlon, along with taking any questions that you may have.
Due to a ton of work which has gone on behind the sense we are delighted that we are able to offer places for this event at £10 per participant. This covers all of the coached sessions along with a snack and triathlon themed t-shirt.
1. Participants should bring a swimming suit and goggles, and run kit. Some activities will take place outside so they should bring appropriate clothing for the weather on that day. We also recommend you bring dry and warm clothes to change into afterwards.
2. We are not able to offer any refunds for participants who sign up.
3. Lunch will not be provided, however you will get a snack during one of the other breaks
4. This is a student only event
