- Kinross Road Runners welcome you to the 4th Path Of Condie Half Marathon. To be held on 27th October, starting at 10:30am from Orwell Church Hall, Milnathort.
- This is a testing Half Marathon with attitude and altitude and with the time of year it could throw anything at you. It is also one of the most rewarding distance runs in the area with frequently changing scenery and gradient. It is definitely not for all runners and would not be recommended for a first half marathon or a fun run. A map of the route can be found at http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=6700141
- The race is run under UK Athletics Rules and is a Scottish Athletics permit event.
- Refunds will not be made and there will be no deferrals. Number swaps are allowed until the last week, please contact us to notify of changes
All entries are via Entry Central. Transfers will be allowed until the 24th of October, this must be done by contacting the organiser at . After that race numbers are not exchangeable as we lock the data ready for timing.
Race Numbers will be issued from 09:00 on the day of the race at Registration at Orwell Church hall on Ba'hill, Milnathort.
The race starts at 10:30 am.
Health and Safety
Clear route maps will be posted at Registration and sent out on a reminder email before the race, we ask you to study this clearly before the race. The route is well signposted, but it is all on public roads UKA Rule 240 S5 Forbids the wearing of headphones. For this reason we ask runners to not wear headphones unless medically prescribed. Bone-conduction headphones are allowed. Runners are at risk of being removed from the race/results if seen to be breaking the rules. The organisers are being assisted by a number of volunteer marshals. The safety of all is paramount and it is a condition of entry that competitors must follow the instructions of the marshals. First aid will be at the finish line, and if required on course a marshal will contact them via mobile phone.
The marshals will be on the course for an arranged time to oversee all capabilities of runners, however as previously stated this is a hilly course and not for the faint hearted or a first timer. This year we have a cut-off time of 2 hours 20 minutes at the final water station (9 miles) Runners outwith this time have the option to continue unaided by the event and at their own risk or take the sweeper transport back to the finish. All runners must enter emergency contact details on the back of their bib number.
There are cash prizes for first to third in both genders and age categories are open, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80....... All finishers receive a unique medal . Full results will be emailed out after the race.
There are toilet facilities at registration however changing facilities are limited so it is advised to come virtually race ready. Car Parking is limited so please car share where possible. Further information on parking will be provided nearer the time.
There will be 3 water stations on the route and water will be available at the finish.
There will be catering and tea/coffee after supplied by KRR. Where possible, please bring your own reusable cup and plate to help keep the event as green as possible.
