THIS ENTRY SYSTEM IS ONLY FOR PITREAVIE AAC and DUNFERMLINE T&F CLUB MEMBERS
The Club Champs is held at the start of the summer season and this year is a joint venture between Pitreavie AAAC and Dunfermline T&F.
The competition is restricted to members of the club who must have paid their annual membership fees prior to the closing date for entry.
TRACK & FIELD
Results from the Club Champs are used to aid team selection in the first league matches as it gives Team Managers a guide to current form, especially with newer athletes in the club. It is therefore important to enter your best and most favoured events.
NOTE - where numbers are low in an event (for example hurdles) then a race may contain both Pitreavie AAC and Dunfermline T&F athletes. There will be two scoring systems to allow both clubs to have their own club champions.
The maximum number of events for all age groups is four and the type of events athletes can enter depends on their age group:
- Under 9s 100m, 600m, long jump and shot putt
- Under 11s 100m, 600m, long jump and shot putt
- Under 13s 4 events (must include one run, one jump and one throw)
- Under 15s 4 events (must include one run, one jump and one throw)
- Under 17s 1 track, 1 field and any other two events
- Under 20s 1 track, 1 field and any other two events
- Seniors 1 track, 1 field and any other two events
- Masters 1 track, 1 field and any other two events
Age Groups
Under 11: Born between 01/09/09 and 31/08/11
Under 13: Born between 01/09/07and 31/08/09
Under 15: Born between 01/09/05 and 31/08/07
Under 17: Born between 01/09/03 and 31/08/05
Under 20: Born between 31/12/00 and 31/08/03
Senior: Born before 31/12/00
Master: 35 and over on day of competition
U11 up to U15 are encouraged to enter four events.
U11 and U13 some field events may take place on Thursday 2nd or Friday 3rd in the evening (dependant on entries and timetable).
POLE VAULT WILL TAKE PLACE ON FRIDAY 3rd AT 6.30PM
The Scotstat performance tables will be used to allocate points to the athlete’s result from each event. All points are totted up to give each athlete an overall score. In the event of a tie, the athlete who scored the highest number of points in an individual event will win.
The cost to enter the championship is £10 for the four events. U17 up to Senior may wish to use this event as an Open Graded style format (so not enter the championship) at a cost of £3.50 per event. Costs include the transaction fee of 50p paid to Entry Central.
PITREAVIE RACERUNNERS
There will be an event for the Racerunners on Saturday 4th April. Entry will be via the racerunning group.
PITREAVIE AAC Endurance (PAACE)
There will be a 5mile handicap race around lunchtime - time to be confirmed
