GLOUCESTERSHIRE CROSS COUNTRY LEAGUE 2023-4

THERE ARE TWO SEPARATE FORMS, ONE FOR U11 AND ONE FOR U13+, THESE WILL BE FOUND BY PRESSING THE SIGN UP BUTTON

The league is a series of four fixtures with medals for the season's top three in all age groups presented at the last fixture. (Score is based upon lowest three positions out of four races and running totals are published after each round). Your age group will be based upon the date of birth declared on the form. The rules for age groups are available to view on the Athletics4u website under the Cross Country tab. Additionally, MV65+ runners may opt to run in the shorter distance Senior Female race or run as MV60+ in the longer male race.

Round one at Cirencester Park offers refreshments, tent space, toilets and parking but no changing.

The approximate timetable will be:-

10.45 u13Boys and girls (3.0k)

11.05 u11 Boys and girls (2.0k)

11.30 u15 Boys and girls (4.5k)

12.30 u17 Men and Women/u20 women/senior women/masters/ men over 65 (6.5k)

13.30 u20 Men/ senior men/masters   (9.5k)

The league races are open to individual runners and teams from outside Gloucestershire AAA . In junior races, where boys and girls run together, separate finish lists are published and medals are awarded for each gender group. 

Price: £10 for seniors/masters and £5 for u20 and young  athletes (Price will discount when you enter EA number and further if young Athletes click junior age group question) .

Additionally there is generously discounted scheme for clubs/teams offering all four races at £25 senior/master £12 young athlete per affiliated runner. Runners must be nominated on the Glos AAA spreadsheet on the Athletics4u website by a captain/ sec. with full details to be returned one week before the first race and may not be changed or supplemented after the first race.

The race is run under UK Athletics Rules and is an England Athletics permit event.

Entries

There is no additional fee for entering online. Please note that entry fees are non-returnable. There will be no on the day entry , entries close at midnight on October 31st.

Registration

Individual running numbers will be distributed at the event . Please check that your club is correct when collecting your number and on the published list on the Athletics4u website.

Numbers MUST be worn on the front of your vest and be visible. Marshals' instructions MUST be obeyed at all times.
Timekeepers are busy. DO NOT attempt to interrupt them while they are working. Results will be published on the internet on the Athletics4u website as soon as possible as well as being displayed at the event if practical.
