Organiser's Description

This August, we were meant to be meeting up in Kelvingrove to go on our sixth OUTrun, unfortunately COVID-19 had other ideas. We know how special this event is to our members and friends so we’ve adapted it 2020 style into HOMErun.

What’s the plan then?
This year we want you to run wherever you are. Sticking to the government advice, just head out for a 5 mile run somewhere near you. Time it, share your screenshot on social media (tagging @GlasgowFrontRunners) and of course, all involving your own unique HOMErun 2020 t-shirt.

HOMErun is supported by two of our annual sponsors - LEAP Sports Scotland & Queen's Cross Housing Association allowing us to continue to engage and promote health and wellbeing through running among LGBTQI+ adults, regardless of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation or physical ability.

Date: Saturday August 29th 2020
Venue: From your home
Start time:  Anytime
Entry Fee: £10 (additional charity donation possible)
Closing date: 10th August (if you want a t-shirt to race in) and 29th August for last minute on the day registrations.

Want your exclusive HOMErun t-shirt in time to race?
First batch "early" entries will close on August 10th, to allow race t-shirts to be available for the race day and posted out direct to your door.

Second batch entries will close on the day of the event and t-shirts will be sent out after the run.

Keep an eye out on social for information on some exciting surprises we've got in store for you on the big day!

T-Shirt Style : Unisex
T-Shirt Sizes: XS 35" - S 38" - M 40" - L 43" - XL 45" - 2XL 48"

Bake Sale?
This year, as we'll be running a virtual event, we won't have a bake sale to help raise money for our charity partner so proceeds from the race will be going to The Terrence Higgins Trust and there's an option to donate a little bit more with your entry to boost your support. For more info on what THT do, visit their website; The Terrence Higgins Trust (Scotland).  Keep your eyes peeled for a virtual bake-off!!

There will be no refunds on entries once submitted.
