Organiser's Description

We are proud to announce the return of the Antonine Trail Race. The race will take place on Sunday 30th October 2022 at 10am, starting and finishing at its traditional place on the 'bogie line' near Croy railway station.

Cost is £18 (+entry central booking fee) for non-SAL members. SAL members receive a £2 discount.

In an attempt to keep costs to a minimum and to  support our long term ambition of being a sustainable race, there will be no option to buy tee shirts this year.

All runners will receive a goody bag. There are limited changing facilities and toilets at the Hub. There will be a water station around halfway.

Our charity partner for this race will once again be Who Cares? Scotland.

Dressing up is optional but encouraged. The race takes place on halloween weekend after all. There is a prize for best dressed which won't be grandiose but will be argued over and is completely subjective.

Please note: there will be no on day entries and that dogs are not allowed with runners on race day. This is a condition of our insurance for the event.

We will be operating a transfer window for runners who have to withdraw to be able to pass their place to a runner on the waitlist. The window will be 1st to 7th October and we will use the Entry Central waitlist function to manage this. The waitlist will be restricted to a maximum of 50.

IMPORTANT: We are LGBT friendly, we are non-binary friendly, you can enter our race as male, female or non-binary. Please note that there will be no changing or toilet facilities at the trail start. However, we will have a LGBT and non-binary liaison on hand to support on the day with any queries.

Prizes will be 1-2-3 in the open female and male categories plus an over 50s in both. If we receive 2 or more non-binary entries prizes will be available for that race also.

We will also be doing a collection for Kilsyth Community Foodbank on the day and we would love it if runners and guests could bring along some items for this cause. Non-perishable goods such as tinned food, dried pasta, condiments and sauces, etc, are all ideal.
