Run the Res Half 2022

Sunday 12th June 2022 starting at 9.00 am - registration is open from 8:00 am.

An out and back half marathon distance multi-terrain running event in beautiful Layer de la Haye. Showcasing our village’s beautiful local landscapes with a very scenic run through the North Essex countryside taking in Abberton Reservoir. There will be 4 water stops. In association with Essex Wildlife Trust and Essex and Suffolk Water I am delighted to be bringing this race to you. Race HQ is located at the Abberton Reservoir visitor centre,  Church Road, Layer-de-la-Haye, Colchester, Essex, CO2 0EU.

Toilets and car park are all available at the above location. 

Race entry is £15.50. Optional event finishers t-shirt or vest can be purchased for £10 by adding this to your race entry sign up - a techincal t-shirt or vest in ladies or men's fit. Optional finishers medal - £2.50. Included in the entry fee is a cup of tea/coffee and refreshments served to you from the visitor centre where you can take in the stunning views of the nature reserve.

Race numbers are to be collected on the day from race HQ from 8.00am.  Registration closes at 8:45am for number collection.

Prizes will be presented on the day as soon as possible after the race has finished and the results finalised.

First male and female will receive a free entry to one of our future events. 

Results will be posted on the Facebook page - Craig's Event page and our event photgrapher will be there on the day taking photos.
