The HYDRAM 10K & Fun Run
Sunday 20th June 2021

Come and take part in Newton Aycliffe's biggest sporting event. This fully closed circuit, undulating 10K road race is not one to be missed.
With chip timing, good marshalling, water stations and kilometre markers along the route, you will have everything you need to have a great running experience.
Prizes will be awarded to the top 5 males and females overall and to first place in each age category aswell as two team prizes, one for an all male team of four and one for an all female team of four.

Refund Policy:
If for any reason the race is cancelled at short notice. Aycliffe Running Club cannot return your entry fee as the club is committed to the organisation cost of the event regardless.
No refunds will be given.
No transfers will be made after 31st May 2021.
Timing Chip:
I must return my timing chip at the end of the race, if I drop out or do not finish. If I do not return this, then I accept that I must pay for a replacement which is £10.
Declaration:
I wish to enter the HYDRAM 10K or Fun Run and I declare that I am an amateur as defined by England Athletics Laws and certify that I am medically fit to run. Furthermore, I agree that the organisers will not be held responsible for any injury or illness as result of my participation in the events. I understand that my details will be stored on the entry computer, but will not be distributed to any other organisation or running club.

Aycliffe 10km
HYDRAM 10k Road Race
- Fully closed road ciruit.
- England Athletics measure course with kilometre markers
- Chip Timing (get a print out of your time at the end).
The event starts at 10:00am.
Collect your race number before 9:30 on the day. Your race number and timing tag will be collected on race day from the race registration desk located in Greenfield Community College. Please check you race number and timing tag number are the same.
The tag is not disposable and must be returned at the end of the race as they are chargeable £10 each. The timing tag must be worn at the start and finish of the race for your time to be recorded.
NOTE! The Chip Timing is based on a gunstart so there is only a race time.
Late Entry/Enquiries Desk will be situated in Greenfield Community College approx 10 minutes from the race start, there is a charge of £4.00 for entries on the day..
The warm up area for the 10k is the playing fields adjacent to the finish area. There are ample playing fields around but please watch out for the fun runners starting at 09.15 am.
The race will start in Burnhill Way at 10.00 am. Leave plenty of time (approx 10 minutes) to walk to the start from Greenfield Community College. Please do not warm up on Burnhill Way.
Please note that the 10K course consists of two and a half laps.
Water Station placed approximately 5.7k.
Please keep to the left at all times, and in the event of an emergency involving police, fire engines or an ambulance, you must give way!!
Headphones are NOT to be worn, you will be disqualified if seen wearing them.

PLEASE NOTE : THERE WILL BE NO PRESENTATION AT THE END OF THE RACE – ALL PRIZES WILL BE POSTED.

Aycliffe 3k Fun Run
Aycliffe 3k Fun Run
A perfect route for those just starting out in running or to complete with the family. The Fun Run will start in the large football field near the 10k finish area opposite the car park, Please be aware that small children under 8-years must be supervised by an adult if running. Please use the underpass to the start.
The Route will start on the grassed area of Horndale park for the 1st k then cuts through Blue Bell Wood and links up with the Great Aycliffe way, the finish is just outside Grenfield Community College.
The surface is grass, tarmac & gravel paths.
Please follow marshal’s directions at all times.
A t-shirt for every finisher!
The event starts at 09:15am.
