Monifieth High School 10km - EVENT CANCELLED

New for 2021: The event will be chip timed for the first time this year. There will also be prizes for male and female V70+

Race HQ : Monifieth High School, Panmurefield Road, Monifieth, DD5 4QT

Registration/race numbers: This will open from 09.30hrs on the morning of the event at the school. Please collect your number from the school before making your way to the start.

Start: The event start is not at the school. Start is approximately 1 mile from the school on the cycle path in Monifieth approximately 200 metres west of Tayview Caravan Park. Please allow about 15 minutes to reach the start once you have collected your number. You will be given plenty of directions on how to reach the start and it will make a perfect warm-up!  

Route: The route is out and back, mainly on the cycleway and will be well marshalled. Finish is at the same point as the start. Please be aware that there will be members of the public on the route during the race.

Parking: is available at the school.

Prizes: the first 3 male/female runners as well as first M/F Under 18, V40-49, V50-59 and V60-69, V70+. Prizes giving will be at approximately 12.45hrs.

Headphones: We strongly urge all runners NOT to wear both headphones whilst running as the route is still open to the general public and also to be able to hear other runners coming up from behind you.

Bag drop: There will be a limited bag drop option for runners at the school but we ask wherever possible that you store your bags within your vehicle. Bags can also be left at the start finish at you own risk.

Toilets: These are situated at the school, not at the start/finish area.

Changing: Please try to come to the event ready to run. There is limited changing at the toilets in the school.

First Aid: Will be provided on the day. If you feel unwell on the day of the event (or even within the next few days) please do not start the event.

Results: Will be posted on the pb timing website within 4 hours of the event.

Entries may not normally be deferred to a subsequent year.

No refunds will be made except in the event of the organisers deciding to cancel the race.
