Covid Statement

As things stand we are confident that the race will go ahead as planned but we have no control of covid! In the event that we can`t run the race on 4^th July , even with adaptations , entrants will be given a choice of a transfer to the next date the race is run, a refund of £10 or donation of the entry fee less the entry central administration charge to a local charity.

We are also going to be holding a Virtual race on the weekend of 19th and 20th June 2021. If you would like to take part alongside the physical 10k, you  sign up for £5.00 along side. We will be offering prizes for combined results.

• Setting: City centre taking in tourist attractions and also canal towpath

• Wheelchair accessible: Unfortunately the organisers are disappointed to confirm that the course is not accessible for Wheelchair users

• Notes: The aim of the route is to showcase Gloucester so it passes the Cathedral, through the Docks and Gloucester Quays and there is a run along the canal towpath.  Given the intention of taking in the sites it does twist in the odd place, but is still a fast course.  The event is very much a community event re-established by Davies and Partners Solicitors following the decision of commercial organisers not to continue with it.  Any surplus will be given to Gloucester charities.
