Myddle Muddle 10K/5K/1 Mile Fun Run - 27 March 2022
The Myddle Muddle (Formerly the Myddle Multi-Terrain Fun Run) is a 10K, a 5K or a 1 mile fun run set in the beautiful rural countryside surrounding the North Shropshire village of Myddle. Starting at the primary school you will follow a circular, undulating 10K or 5K multi-terrain trail which promises a wide variety of terrain including working farms, fields, lanes, hill tops, pine and oak woodland and showcasing breathtaking views across the Shropshire Hills and Breiddens. The 1 mile fun run is aimed predominantly at children and the route will pass next to fields of alpaca, horses, cows and the legendary Myddle 'castle'. Fancy dress is optional! All races are fully marshalled and we promise a good warm up beforehand and cake and refreshments to aid your recovery! The medal has been designed by one of our pupils especially for the 2022 race and all finishers will receive one. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 places (male&female) in each race.
This is a grass-roots PTA fundraiser organised by the Myddle Primary and Nursery PTA and is run entirely by parent volunteers. There is no pressure to be competitive, just come along and enjoy! All proceeds will benefit the children directly.
Prices:
10K £12 online (£14 on the day) (age 18 and over)
5K £8 online (£10 on the day) (Under 12s must run with an adult age over 18)
1 Mile Fun Run £2 online (also £2 on the day)
