A new weekly Sunday race format is in town!

1 start line : 3 races

2 miles / 5km / 10km

Silverknowes Prom, Edinburgh • Start Time 10.30am, Sundays

CHIP TIMED | MULTI DISTANCE | FAMILY FRIENDLY | CHARITY SUPPORTER | FREE PARKING

Organised by Blast Running, Edinburgh under Scottish Athletics rules

Scottish Athletics Licensed Event

The race is chip timed using shoe clips.The route is a wide, flat, tarmac, beachside promenade with no obstacles.

Families with young children are welcome, kids from age 5 can run in the 2 mile race, from age 11 can run in the 2 miler or the 5km race and from age 15 can run in all three disances. And of course running buggies, handcycles and wheelchairs are also warmly welcomed!

Children under 11 run FREE, 11-19 year olds pay £2 and adults pay £5 for 2 miler & 5km and £6 for 10km. There is an addtional £2 levy for Adult non Scottish Athletic members. Enter via Entry Central, the Blast Running website, www.blastrunning.co.uk or Enter-on-the-Day up until 10.15am.

START/FINISH - Gypsy Brae Recreation Ground, West Shore Road, EH5 1QD – The Registration desk is in our big bright blue gazebo which you'll find at the recreation ground, it is sign posted. There is plenty of parking and it is free. Toilets and changing can be used at the World of Football on Marine Drive from 10am. Hot chocolate and tea is available and free to all runners at the end of the race in the gazebo. Bags and bikes can be left in the gazebo at your own risk.

Bus routes 8, 14, 16, 27 all stop within a mile of the start line.

A percentage of your entry fee will go to a local children’s mental health charity in the Lothians called Play Therapy Base. Play Therapy Base is a registered charity whose aim is to provide children aged 3 to 14 years with a child-centred therapeutic resource close to their local communities in Midlothian, East Lothian and Edinburgh. www.playtherapybase.co.uk
