The Bonnet Toun 10Km and Family 2.5Km Fun Run
28 Oct 2018
The 2018 BONNET TOUN RUNNING FESTIVAL
Previously organised as the Stewarton Academy 5k fun run. This year we introduce a new 10K to the Ayrshire running scene. Hosted by Stewarton Academy pupils via the Sports Council, parents via the Parent Council, The Bonnet Guild and Jog Stewarton leaders and runners. The Bonnet Guild 10Km is a sister event to the popular and long standing Kilmaurs Gala 5K.
The 10Km distance is suitable for both experienced runners and those just starting out. All abilities will be warmly welcomed. To enable all age groups to take part we will also run a family 2.5Km event starting at the same time as the 10K. We only ask that for those youngsters below 11 years old that they have an adult running with them (note both runners will need to enter the fun run).
The brand new Stewarton Academy Hockey Pitch and Track will be open on the day as well so please come along and have a try out on this exciting new sports facility for Stewarton, Kilmaurs and Dunlop.

There will be water available at the start/finish area.
