RUN LAYER 5 2022

Sunday 24th April starting at 9.00 am with a 1 mile children’s fun run - £3.00 entry fee for the fun run available on the day.

5 mile run starts at 9:30 am.

Having raised over £12,000 for our local community and charities, we are very pleased to announce we are back in 2022, hosting the event for a 3rd year.

A 5 mile, out and back, multi-terrain running event in beautiful Layer de la Haye. There is one water stops at 2.5miles.  Showcasing our village’s beautiful local landscapes with a very scenic run through the North Essex countryside. This will be a fun, friendly, family event organised by the community for the community and is not to be missed.

First male and female will receive a free entry to one of our future events.

Race HQ is located at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, New Cut, Layer de la Haye, Colchester, Essex, CO2 0EH.

Toilets available at the above location. 

£12.50 for 5 mile entry. Optional event finishers t-shirt or vest can be purchased for £10 by adding this to your race entry sign up - a technical t-shirt or vest in ladies or men's fit. Optional finishers medal - £2.50.

£3.00 1 mile children’s fun run, this is on the day sign up only, all 1 mile fun run finishers receive a medal.

There is limited parking at the race HQ, please park considerately.

Race numbers are to be collected on the day from race HQ from 8.15am.  Registration closes at 9.15am.

Prizes will be presented on the day as soon as possible after the race has finished and the results compiled.

Prizes for:

1st, 2nd and 3rd male; and female 

Results will be posted on the Craigs Events Facebook page and our event photographer will be there on the day taking photos.
