Cannon Events Mighty Green Virtual Run or Walk Monthly Challenge
With the current situation regarding limitations on holding road races why not challenge yourself to running or walking a specific distance in a month. Decide your own distance and earn a Commemorative medal of Bronze, Silver or Gold when you complete your personal challenge as follows:
Complete from 20 miles up to 49 miles to earn a BRONZE medal
Complete from 50 miles up to 99 miles to earn a SILVER medal
Complete 100 miles plus to earn a GOLD medal
CHILDREN Under 16
Complete from 5 miles up to 19 miles to earn a BRONZE medal
Complete from 20 miles up to 49 miles to earn a SILVER medal
Complete 50 miles plus to earn a GOLD medal
Here is how it works: Sign up and decide on your target challenge (Bronze, Silver or Gold). Log each daily run/walk you do from the first day of the month until the end of the month. You can sign up any time in the month and count every run/walk from the start until the end of the month. You do not have to exercise each day, you decide which days to run or walk to achieve your target miles. Each entrant will also be invited to join a Private Facebook Group dedicated to the Monthly Challenge where you can submit photos of your challenge progress with a chance to win prizes each month.
At the end of the month you must submit proof of each run/walk to firstname.lastname@example.org Proof is anything that shows the distance you have run or walked e.g. Strava, Garmin. At the end of the month your Commemorative medal of Bronze, Silver or Gold, depending on your miles achieved, will be posted out to you.
