PLEASE NOTE ENTRIES FOR THIS RACE CLOSE ON 11 AUGUST 2019 - THERE IS NO ENTRY ON THE NIGHT
The Lochwinnoch race is held on cycle path between Lochwinnoch and Kilbarchan and is approximately 8k in distance. The race forms the first event in the week-long Tour of Clydeside and can be entered as a single event or as part of the Tour.
Please note, if you wish to enter the whole Tour of Clydeside there is a separate page on EntryCentral at http://www.entrycentral.com/tourofclydeside
Entry fee: £7 (SAL) and £9 (non-SAL). Tour of Clydeside entry is £20/£30 (early bird) or £25/35.
Start time: 7.30pm
Number collection is from 7pm at Castle Semple Visitor Centre, Lochwinnoch.
The route: the course is formed of a 4k out and back route along the cycle path adjacent to Castle Semple Loch and heading to Kilbarchan. The course is almost flat which will encourage fast times.
Water: this year we are seeking to reduce our environmental footprint and thus ask all runners to BRING YOUR OWN water container. We will have water to collect at the start and finish of the race.
Results: will be posted on our Facebook page
There are no prizes for the individual race, but a wide range of prizes for the Tour, based on the accumulated positions in each of the 5 races.
