clyderunners 10k Trail Race

Minimum age limit 17 years..............Closing Date for Entries 6th September 2018
This small race starts and finishes at the front of the watersport centre at Strathclyde Park. The route leaves the park and heads into the lovely Baron Haugh Nature Reserve where you follow the trail, do a short loop and head back into the park. Lovely scenery, a few wee undulations, approximately 10k maybeee a wee bit over and maybeee a wee bit under- a gorgeous trail run. https://connect.garmin.com/activity/720485195
The course is also not suitable to be run with dogs- sorry :)
The race starts at 10am and entry is via entry central. There will be no entries on the day. Those registered will be able to collect their race number at the front of the watersports centre from 9am. Cost is £10 for affiliated members £12 for non affiliated members.
There will be two water stations at the mid way point and at the end. It will be in cups and please dispose of the cups in the litter bins provided.
There will be prizes for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd male and female. There will also be plenty goodies at the end and a fab race memento...further details to follow!!
- Car parking
Car parking for the race will be at car park 4, which is the furthest away one. Which is only a 2 minute jog from the start.
- Changing facilities
Changing facilities and showers are available in the watersports centre. A £5 deposit is required for the locker key, which is refundable. Show your race number and you will get a shower – not there and then but in the shower area ha!
Race is run under permit no 18/179 issued by The Association of Running Clubs
Results will be issued on the clyderunners website as soon as possible after the event at clyderunners.com
