The EDF, Dunbar 10 mile Race

The EDF Dunbar 10 mile race is a 10 mile multi terrain route taking in mainly quiet, unclassified routes, paths, tracks and farm roads (roads are not closed).
Start time is 11.00am on Saturday 1st October 2016.
Scottish Athletics Members: £11
Non-Members: £13 The event is open to runners aged 17 or over on the day of the race.
The race is run under UK Athletics Rules and is a scottishathletics permit event.
Entry Fee is £11 for affiliated club runners and £13 for unaffiliated runners. There is no additional fee for entering on-line. A limited number of entries on the day will be available (£13 affiliated, £15 unaffiliated on the day)Please note that entry fees are non returnable.
Race Numbers will be issued from 09:30 on the day of the race at Registration at Hallhill Healthy Living Centre. Runners must collect their Race Number no later than 10:45. Please bring a note of your race number, this can be found in your e-mail receipt. Race Numbers are not exchangeable and no-one will be allowed to run without one.
The race starts at 11:00 am. The Start is very close to Hallhill and the grass running track and playing fields offer excellent opportunities for warm up. There are superb changing and showering facilities at Hallhill.
Health and Safety
Clear route maps will be posted at Registration. The route is well defined, and it is on public/farm roads. The organisers are being assisted by a number of voluntary marshals. The safety of all is paramount and it is a condition of entry that competitors must follow the instructions of marshals.
Awards in the form of gift vouchers or cash, will be awarded on the day to the first three finishers (Men and Women) and first "vet" and "super vet" (Man and Woman). All finishers receive a memento . There will be tea/coffee and sandwiches available free to all runners after the race (non runners are asked for a small donation). Full results will be available on the Dunbar Running Club site. There will also be a prize for the first Male and Female Team in the race, with 3 finishers to count.
Car parking is available at Hallhill. Toilet facilities are also available close to the start.
