Organiser's Description

Dunloy Cycling Club are delighted to invite all holders of a Cycling Ireland licence (or that from a comparable governing body) to our Autumn Charity Sportive. This year's 'Tour of Legends' remembers our friend and founder member Noel McIlfatrick who passed away suddenly this year at a tragically young age. Noel was passionate about cycling both as a recreational hobby and about racing, we hope this event will do his memory justice.

Proceeds from this sportive are being donated to the charity 'Chest, Heart & Stroke' who work hard in our localities to prevent early onset of heart disease and stroke.

The first 100 entrants on Entry Central will receive a free Commerative T Shirt when they attend on the day. You will have an opportunity to tell us your size in the entry process. Orders for the T shirts have now been placed as of 24th September, we will do our utmost to ensure you receive the size indicated however we cannot guarantee this.

The entry fee is £20, there will be no refunds. All signing on to Entry Central must have a valid Cycling Ireland or British Cycling Licence. All others wishing to enter must do so 'on the day' where you will be required to purchase an additional £5 Day Licence from Cycling Ireland.

The Sportive will leave Dunloy at 9am on Saturday 5th October and follow a 52 route through Ballymoney, Coleraine, Portstewart, Portrush, Bushmills and Ballintoy before heading inland to ride through the world famous 'Dark Hedges' where you will return to Dunloy. This is a marvellous opportunity to see the Antrim Coast Road at its very best!
