Dundee University Aquathlon 2023

We look forward to welcoming you to our 7^th annual aquathlon at the University of Dundee this October!

The race will comprise of a 750m swim and 5.1km run on the University of Dundee Campus.

All participants will receive a goodie bag.

 There will also be a medal/prize presentation afterwards in Air Bar at DUSA Union for the event overall and each age group.

Results will be posted online (on our Facebook and Instagram pages) within 24 hours of the event and prizes will be emailed out to those successful.

There are some fabulous prizes on offer. Keep an eye on our social media pages for updates.

Categories will be male and female: juniors (17-19), seniors (20-39), veterans (40-49), superveterans (50-59) and vintage (60+).

 Whether this is your first or 100th aquathlon, all abilities are welcome and encouraged!

The race distances are as follows:

Event Timetable (Provisional)

• Registration will take place in Air Bar at the DUSA Union from 10:30am and will close 45 minutes before your heat begins.
  
• A race briefing will be sent to all participants 24 hours prior to the event via email. There will also be a race briefing on the day of the event.
• Prize giving will be back in person this year, taking place in DUSA Air Bar. Results will be posted on our Facebook and Instagram pages, and emailed out to competitors within 24 hours of the event.
  

Toilets and Changing

Toilets will be available within the DUSA Union building and at the ISE Pool. Changing facilities will be available within the ISE pool with lockers provided. We cannot take responsibility for any personal items left unattended or in lockers.

Car Parking

Parking spaces are available throughout campus. Please see here- https://www.dundee.ac.uk/travel/parking/

However, most spaces are availble in the car park beside the Dalhousie Building. To get here turn on Hunter Street from the Hawkhill Roundabout and take the first left into the Car Park. More spaces are avaible beside and behind the main building of the ISE.

Charges apply in these car parks.

Photography

There will be a photographer on site documenting the event and may be used on our website/social media for advertising. If you would not like to be photographed please let us know and we will try our best to exclude you from this.

Refund Policy At the organiser's discretion:

100% refund (minus entrycentral card processing fees) issued up to 30 days before the event.

50% refund (minus entrycentral card processing fees) issued up to 14 days before the event.

50% refunds will only be issued within the 14 day period if another competitor on the waiting list can fill your space.

No refunds will be issued after the closing date: 7 days prior to the event.

SWIM TIMES CANNOT BE CHANGED FROM 7 DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT. Please be as accurate as possible when submitting times and let us know before this date if there has been any changes.
