Dumfries & Galloway Triathlon Club
Dumfries & Galloway Triathlon Club was newly established in 2012 to cater for the demand in the area for a club focusing on Triathlon. The clubs main objectives are to deliver structured training sessions and bring a group of like minded individuals together, but also to welcome all levels of ability and ensure it is fun and enjoyable. Potential members participate in all distances from sprint, standard, half and full ironman not to mention aquathlons, adventure races and off road MTB endurance events. Our club website is at www.dgtriclub.org, you can find the most up to date information within this. Currently we have coached swim sessions on a Tuesday Evening (19:00) & Sunday morning (07:45) at DG One's Temporary Pool followed by a longer Cycle Ride or skills/technique session. We also offer a turbo session at The MacLeod Pavilion at 19:00 on Mondays during the winter months and a Run Technique session on a Friday evening at The Easterbrook Hall Car Park starting at 17:30. Why not come down and meet us to train and chat with like minded people.
The club year runs until 31st December 2019, and entry fee includes Entry into the 2019 Club Grand Prix Series
Please remember - you have to renew any race licence direct with triathlonscotland, not through the club.
Do note that at this time the club does NOT have a juniors section.
For each sign-up, the organiser pays the Service Fee of 4% (min 50p). You pay no surcharge
