Dumfries & Galloway Triathlon Club
Dumfries & Galloway Triathlon Club was newly established in 2012 to cater for the demand in the area for a club focusing on Triathlon. The clubs main objectives are to deliver structured training sessions and bring a group of like minded individuals together, but also to welcome all levels of ability and ensure it is fun and enjoyable. Potential members participate in all distances from sprint, standard, half and full ironman not to mention aquathlons, adventure races and off road MTB endurance events. Our club website is at www.dgtriclub.co.uk, you can find the most up to date information within this. Currently we have coached swim sessions on a Tuesday Evening (19:00) & Sunday morning (07:45) at DG One's Temporary Pool followed by a longer Cycle Ride or skills/technique session. We also offer a turbo session at The Loreburn Hall on a Wednesday evening at 19:45 and a Run Technique session on a Friday evening at The David Keswick Centre. Why not come down and meet us to train and chat with like minded people.
The club year runs until January 2018, included in membership this year is a Dumfries & Galloway Tri Club Swim Cap and free entry in to the Club Duathlon 2017
Please remember - you have to renew any race licence direct with triathlonscotland, not through the club.
Do note that at this time the club does NOT have a juniors section.
