Buckland Burn Up & Junior Burn Up

Approx 5 mile Road Race, walk , kids 1km, minis dash

Back in person for 2022! 

The Buckland Burn Up is a wonderfully scenic but challenging 5 mile road race  giving fantastic seaviews, tranquil woodland and beautiful farmland all set in the lovely harbour town of Kirkcudbright. 

Our junior race is a 1km off road run round the park with the minis doing a dash along flat grass.

This year we will have ONLINE ENTRY ONLY.

Between 9.30-10.30 on the morning of the race you will be able to collect your number from the gazebo and on completion of the race you will recieve your medal and water.

NEW FOR 2022 walkers

Due to the fantastic support of the virtual events  from walkers over the last few years we have introduced an option to walk the Burn up, the walkers will go off at 10.30 before the runners and we kindly  ask any  walkers with dogs keep them on a short lead and out of the way of runner for safety.

The easiest way to the park is from St Cuthberts street, up from tesco near the town centre.

There is no parking at the park itself but plenty free parking in town and a short walk up to to the start.
