The Beltie Triathlon - Middle and Olympic Distance September 2021
05 Sep 2021
Organiser's Description
5th September 2021 - Crossmichael near CASTLE DOUGLAS
Welcome to the most wonderful triathlon. Join us in south-west Scotland for 19th Crossmichael Triathlon on 5th September 2021
Duke Events aim to cater for all abilities and will offer you a Standard Distance Triathlon (The Wee Beltie) and a Middle-Distance Triathlon (The Big Beltie).
There will be relay team opportunities in both adult triathlon events.
Why the Beltie name you may ask. Well, the beautiful area we are in is the home of the famous Belted Galloway breed of cow which is recognised the world over for its outstanding good looks and cool looking jumper.
We are in the Galloway Glen of the Water of Ken and Dee, a stunningly scenic area of South-West Scotland. The area is recognised as a hidden gem often missed by the tourist tracks to the Highlands and Central Scotland. This is your chance to race in a truly wonderful place.
