750m Open Water Swim / 17km Off-Road Cycle / 5km Run

Making the most of the amazing scenery around Loch Lomond, our unique triathlon events involve an open-water swim in Loch Lomond along a shallow route following the shoreline. The swim is followed by a cycle and run on paths and off-road surfaces through wooded and open landscapes.

The Beastie Sprint Triathlon starts with a 750m open water swim in the loch on a route clearly marked by buoys. Transition takes you into the 17km off-road cycle followed by a 5km run.

The Bike route is a MOUNTAIN BIKE course which can get very muddy, and is NOT suitable for Road Bikes or bikes with Slick tyres.

More details including course maps can be found on our website at www.beastietriathlons.com

In the unfortunate event you need to withdraw from the race please let us know at the earliest opportunity as it may be possible to offer the place to another person. Withdrawals up to 30 days prior to the race (June 30th) will receive a 75% refund. No refunds will be provided after June 30th. Entry exchanges and deferrals are not permitted.

400m Open Water Swim / 9km Off-Road Cycle / 3 km Run

This is an ideal event for beginners new to the sport of triathlon who want to get involved in their first open water novice event.

Our carefully planned routes meet competition distances and standards set by Triathlon Scotland. With well equipped safety boats patrolling the swim, marshals keeping a close eye out all along the cycle and run routes, and St Andrew’s ambulance on site, these events give you the incredible location and technical support to challenge yourself to a new level.

The Beastie Novice Triathlon starts with a 400m open water swim in Loch Lomond on a route clearly marked by buoys. After collecting your bike in transition you will set out on a 9km off-road cycle and then a 3 km run.

The Bike route is a MOUNTAIN BIKE course which can get very muddy, and is NOT suitable for road bikes or bikes with slick tyres.
