Organiser's Description
The Ayrshire Big Yin Challenge Ride takes you on a 100-mile cycle tour of the county’s rural roads and through the countryside once home to Robert Burns, Scotland’s national poet.

It is a non-competitive social ride, the vast majority of which is on quiet 'B' grade roads.
We do not record event times or placings. It is up to the rider to time themselves if they so wish.

Note: Under 13's - must be accompanied by an adult on the ride and have a completed, signed Parental Consent form.
Under 18's - must have a completed, signed Parental Consent form.
Entry fee: £15
Event sign-on: 8.00 - 8.20am
Route safety briefing: 8.25am
Event start time: 8.30am - please note start may be staggered dependant on entry numbers.
A Rider Information pack with the route sheet, link to online map and additional information will be e-mailed to entrants after June 2nd. 2019.

Transport:
Parking around the Scout Hall is limited but these car parks are within a two minute cycle.
Troon Railway station is located adjacent to the Scout Hall.
Where possible please car share, or arrange to be dropped off and collected.
Withdrawals Policy
Up until June 2nd. 2019 all withdrawals will be subject to a £3.00 charge to cover the cost of processing the entry and refund.
After June 2nd. 2019 no refunds will be given
Event Cancellation Policy
The event will only be cancelled or postponed due to unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances.
Should the event be postponed for any reason, the organisers’ liabilities in respect of costs and expenses incurred by entrants as a result of cancellation or delay will solely be the entry fee paid to take part in the event.
