Be part of the Arran Sportive, a fantastic event to raise funds for Ocean Youth Trust Scotland.
Now in its third year, the Arran Sportive is an exciting cycling event around the beauitful Isle of Arran.
This challenging open road event covers 56 miles (90km), a full island loop with 1300 metres of climbing. The route starts and finishes in Brodick going anti-clockwise around the island.
The Arran Sportive will not only provide you with an abundance of stunning island landscapes and nature, but the fast flowing roads, lung busting climbs and exhilarating descents will ensure you will have an unforgettable day in the saddle.
The island is easily accessible from the mainland by ferry with short ferry crossings from Ardrossan and Claonaig in Kintyre. Due to limited parking available in Brodick, it is recommended that participants leave their cars on the mainland and board the ferry as passenger only. Pleaese note there is a secure bag drop available at the Events HQ and Registration in Ormidale Sports Pavilion. Shower facilities are also available.
The event is organised by and is entirely in aid of youth development charity Ocean Youth Trust Scotland. All proceeds of the event will go directly to the charity to help them deliver their life changing Adventure under Sail to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
