LOOP o' TWATT Fun Run

Starting point and registration: Race Director's Marquee, Twatt Farm, Orkney

Entry cost:  £5    £4.50 SA members

The Loop o' Twatt will be run or walked over a mixed route of grass, track and dirt road. 

Come and be part of Scotland's first ever Backyard Ultra! The Loop o' Twatt Fun Run will cover just ONE 4.1667 mile loop of the Orkney Backyard Ultra (BYU) route at Twatt Farm in Orkney on the morning of the Backyard event.

All are welcome! Run or walk - it really doesn't matter as long as you're off the route at 11:15am to allow us to prepare for the main BYU race which will start at midday. 

The Loop will begin and end inside the Hay Bale starting corale and everyone will get a sustainable medal with prizes for the winners. 

The Loop o' Twatt event is run in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the sport's governing body - Scottish Athletics Federation. SAF has issued the Race Organisers with a permit to hold the race.

Please note that no changing facilities will be available on the day, but there will be refreshements, parking and loos. 

All proceeds will go to Orkney Athletic and Running Club to support our island's athletes.
