Fochabers Triple Challenge

Spey Runners are proud to host the return of the Fochabers Triple Challenge, a 3-race series consisting of:
Gordon Castle 10k – Sunday 20th May, a race around the picturesque grounds of Gordon Castle Estate and neighbouring Deer Park.
Jean Carr Race – Sunday 22nd July, a 5.5 mile race around the woods at Ordiequish and past the Jean Carr Stone
Monumental Challenge – Sunday 28th October, starting and finishing at the foot of the Monster Trails, this challenging 5 mile hill race passes the monument at the top of the picturesque Whiteash Hill.
Online - £25 (SA affiliated) £30 (Non affiliated) plus Entry Central processing fee (4%)
Online entries for the race series will close at midnight on 15th May 2018, or if any of the 3 races reaches capacity.
(After 15th May the Jean Carr Race and Monumental Challenge may still be open for entry as individual races)
Entry is also possible at Outrun, 55 High Street, Fochabers until 15th May 2018
Limited entries may be available on the day and will incur an additional fee.
Note: fee includes entry to the Gordon Castle Highland Games on 20th May 2018

Monumental Challenge. 9:00-10:30am, Christies Garden Centre

Monumental Challenge. 11:00, Winding Walks
There will be marshals at various points throughout the course. Please treat them with respect and follow ALL marshal instructions carefully. They are in place primarily for your safety.
Parking for the Gordon Castle 10k will be provided on-site by the organisers of the Gordon Castle Highland games. Fees may apply.
For the Jean Carr race, parking is available at various locations within Fochabers village. Please park with consideration for other road users and residents.
For the Monumental Challenge, parking will be available at Christies Garden Centre.
Prizes at each race for 1st male and female in the Senior(16+), Vet40+, Vet50+ categories. Race timing will be done manually (no chip timing).
Individual race times will be totalled to give male and female overall series winners.
Water stations will be positioned at the half way point of each course.
Organised by Spey Runners under UK Athletics rules. The event is open to runners aged 16 years or older.
