Ten Years of Tin Farm 5

We made it to 10 year. Lets make this year one to remember!

STOP PRESS: We now have a junior race.  Do you know any children aged between 8 and 13years old who would like a chance to race along Ormsary Beach?

Junior TF

To celebrate Ten Years of TF5 we've decided to run a Junior TF.

The course is still being finalised but will be roughly 1mile (and no longer than 1.5miles).  It will mainly be on tarmac roads around the estate but we hope to include a run along the beach.

The route will be (very) well marshaled and we plan to have two or three marshals who will run with the children to encorouge then and keep them safe.  We would be delighted if any parents want to join their children and jog along with them.

Ten Years of Tin Farm 5

As ever big thank you to the Lithgow family for their support of the race.

THE COURSE
The race is just under 5.5miles.  The first two miles take in a gentle flat run along the coast.  The route then takes you off road onto the beautiful Ormsary Estate.  There is a short climb where you will be rewarded at the top with stunning views to Islay and Jura.  From this point it is down hill all the way winding your way through ancient woodlands and beautiful gardens on your way to a run along Ormsary beach before finishing back at Ormsary Estate Office.

The course will be well marked and there will be marshals at various key points.

Please note - there will not be water stations on the course.
