Triathlon Scotland Technical Official Training Course 2017
The organisation and delivery of triathlon events are the backbone of our sport's success, and the quality of these events is vital to the continuing growth and development of the fast growing, dynamic and modern sport. Technical Officials (TOs) support our event organisers so that events in Scotland, and across Great Britain, are safe and fair, and Technical Officials do this by ensuring that competitors uphold the rules of the sport.
Triathlon Scotland's National and Continental Technical Officials deliver the British Triathlon Technical Official training course, which aims to provide new officials with the information and confidence required to get started in officiating. This interactive course will cover both Local and Regional Technical Official course work, in a fun and interactive day long workshop.
Each course will support up to 15 delegates, allowing tutors and attendees to share their own experiences and learn from others, in a relaxed and informal environment. The course is subsidised by Triathlon Scotland, and costs £20, to cover learning resources. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
