Adult Swimming Courses for Beginners/Improvers is a swim training programme for anyone whether you want to learn to swim, want to swim to keep fit or improve your swimming for triathlon then we have something for you.

The course is suitable for both beginners wanting a 'learn to swim' style to those who can swim but feel they would benefit from a structured coached swim programme to boost their water confidence and improve their swimming performance.

The course is structured around developing your front crawl, the stroke most commonly used in all triathlon events and the three main components that make up the front crawl swimmer; Tautness, Alignment and Propulsion.  

The 10 week course *only pay for 8" is our bespoke summer course which assumes you will be taking a 2 week break at some point during the summer months as part of your annual holiday so that you do not lose out financially by booking onto the course.      

The course covers all of the above areas layering and progressing the technical elements together as well as building a strong base fitness to create a solid robust foundation to take your swimming to the next level.  We will also be covering some Open Water skills with a view to you swimming open water over the summer.

The course will be run at Tewkesbury School Swimming Pool starting June 30th.  Each session will start at 18:30 and last 1 hour.  Sessions will be coached and taught by our team of very experienced and highly qualified BTF coaches and ASA Level 2 swim teachers ensuring you get the very best learning experience and expert advice including all the tips and tricks specific to triathlon swimming.
