Pro Endurance Coaching are pleased to announce a new workshop day for 2020 - Bike Time Trial Development. A mixed workshop with theory, off the bike strength work and practical work riding TT bikes.
Taking place on Sunday 22nd March Using Facilities at House for an Art Lover, Bellahouston Park and Elite Gym Glasgow. Facilities are just 2 mins off the M8 in Glasgow less than 1 hour travel from edinburgh, the central belt and Ayrshire.
Pro Endurance Coaching brings over 20 years coaching experience together with a background in sports science and full time work at all levels including elite and age group world championship medallists, 70.3 winners, national champions, Tristar, Youth and Junior performance athletes as well as considerable experience of work with novices and improvers. Skill development and individual customised work programmes are the backbone of our work. We also have 10 years bikefitting experience are an accredited retul bikefitter and you can now ride CTT events as a Pro Endurance Rider if you wish as our portfolio of bikeriding clients builds.
This 1 day workshop has everything you need to equip yourself to move your Bike time trial (and non drafting triathlon) forwards. An extensive theory presentation covering training - especially using power, bike position and aerodynamics and equipment. A strength training session led by an olympic lift coach specific to bike riding and tailored for different abilities with a 4 week programme to take away. We will also do a 2 hr practical TT specific training session covering riding aero position, Practice TT starts, and specific training work at a variety of training zones. Customised follow up training plans will be available to purchase.
The workshop is aimed at those committed to improving their bike TT's or triathlon. You do not need to be fast but the workshop is specific to riding TT bikes or road bikes with Tri bars and ideally those using a power meter both in training and racing.
You will need your bike, outdoor riding kit for the weather conditions in March and indoor gym kit including trainers. If you have a power meter this should be working and your garmin (or other head unit) should be setup correctly (info will be provided in advance). Unfortunately we will not have time to individually setup equipment or troubleshoot on the day so please ensure you are familiar with your equipment.
