Welcome to the Milnathort Dash
Organised by Kinross Road Runners, The Milnathort Dash is our annual short distance race for runners that love a Run of Two halves on road/farm track. It's only 5 miles but the views are worth the effort.
Will you sprint the hill at the start for a chance of Queen or King of the hill? Or save something for the second half of the race which is nearly all down hill, the choice is yours..or both if you fancy?
The event is open to runners aged 16 or over on the day of the race.
The race is run under UK Athletics Rules and is a scottishathletics permit event.
The race is a popular evening fixture on the calendar, and is expected to fill up before closing day which is 20th June.
The race limit is 200 places, so enter quickly to avoid disappointment. Once they're gone, they're gone! there is no waiting list.
No number swaps.

Registration opens at 6.30 pm in Orwell Church Hall and the race starts at 7.30 pm.
The race starts at 7.30 pm at the bottom of Wester Loan, Milnathort, adjacent to the Town Hall.
Health and Safety
Clear route maps will be posted at Registration. The route is well signposted, but it is on public roads and farm tracks UKA Rule 240 S5 Forbids the wearing of headphones, for this reason we ask runners to not wear headphones unless medically prescribed. Scottish Athletics do allow bone-conduction head phones. The organisers are being assisted by a number of voluntary marshals. The safety of all is paramount and it is a condition of entry that competitors must follow the instructions of the marshals.
All runners must enter emergency contact details on the back of their number.
Please ensure your number is easily read from the front.
There are prizes in all runner categories as well as a team prize for ladies and men.
Prizes for Queen and King of the hill will be awarded to the first female and male respectively to reach the top of the first hill

There are toilets but no changing facilities at Registration.
Car Parking is available on public roads and is limited so car sharing is encouraged/recommended.
There is one water station on the route and drinks are available at the finish.
Refreshments will be available in Orwell Church Hall after the race.
