Lathallan School 9.0
15 Mar 2020
Lathallan School will celebrate its 90th birthday in 2020.
To commemorate the event we are hosting an unmissable 9k cross-country event through expansive 60 acre grounds of Brotherton Castle and along the neighbouring North Sea coastline.
This is a spectacular route and provides a fun, yet challenging race that provides a mixture of ups, downs and flats on a variety of terrain, from grass to woodland and bare earth. It is a proper cross-country race so expect some MUD!
This race is open to adults, aged 16 and over, and will be professionally chip-timed. There will be a merchandise gift for all race finishers. There will also be three events on the day for younger athletes - 3.2km routes for U15s & U13s, a 1.9k route for U11s and a 1.3k loop for U9s.
There will be refreshments available on the day for a small fee at Pipers Coffee Shop with all proceeds from the sale of drinks going towards our charity partner Vuyani.
All profits from Lathallan 9.0 will go towards inspiring the next generation of athletes in a new school gym.
