Humph's Hilly Half

Bourton Roadrunners are holding Humph's Hilly Half on Saturday evening 17th June 2017 at 6.00 pm.
This year we are supporting Katherine’s Hospice in memory of our friend Sue Gore, who was very well cared for at Banbury Katherine’s Hospice. Please make a contribution if you are able.
The course starts in the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water and within a mile has climbed a hill out of the village known locally as The Steeps. The course then visits the picturesque Cotswold villages of Clapton, Sherbourne, Windrush, the Barringtons and the Rissingtons before the final flat and fast miles into Bourton.
Held under UKA rules - licence applied for. There will be mile markers. Water at approx every 3 miles. Open roads - not traffic free. Runners must be capable of completing the course within 2hrs 30mins. Listening devices must not be worn. No dogs. No wheelchairs.
Race HQ is at the Rovers Football Club, Rissington Road, Bourton-on-the-Water, GL54 2BN, opposite to the Birdland car park. Start is 1km away from Race HQ and the Finish is at the entrance to the Birdland car park.
Presentation of the prizes will be at Race HQ at approx 8.30pm.
