Grangemouth Triathlon Club 2019 Membership
Grangemouth Triathlon Club is the Wee Club With A Big Heart. We're a friendly triathlon club based in the Falkirk Area and winner of Triathlon Scotland's Club of the Year Award 2016.
Our members range from novice right up to age group qualifiers and world championship 70.3 qualifiers. Members participate in all distances from sprint, standard, half and full ironman. A wealth of knowledge and experience is given out by our Triathlon Scotland trained coaches at club sessions throughout the week. The minimum age to join is if your child turns 8 years old within 2019.
Membership is now open for 2019. The club year runs until the 31st of January 2020. You can join via EntryCentral until 27th November, after that please contact the Club Secretary through our website.
Our annual adult club membership is £25 followed by a monthly training subscription of £15, payable by direct debit on the 1st of each month. This entitles you to attend all coached sessions. (Details of our session timetable is available on our website). If you become injured or can’t train at any time within the year you can suspend your training subscription by emailing the club secretary. During the suspension of your monthly payments you will be unable to attend any of our coached sessions until you reinstate your payment. Adults who cannot commit to any training sessions due to work commitments, or if they simply wish to train on their own, can pay the £25 annual club membership payment which entitles you to attend our social events, join our communications platforms and race under the GTC banner.
Our annual junior club membership is £10 followed by a monthly training subscription of £10, payable by direct debit on the 1st of each month. This entitles juniors to attend all junior coached sessions. (Details of the session timetable is available on our website) If the member become injured or can’t train at any given time within the year they can suspend their training subscription by emailing the club secretary. During the suspension of monthly payments they will be unable to attend any of our coached sessions. Please select the appropriate membership when you join.
Monthly training subscription set up.
Direct Debit should be set up immediately after renewing/signing up for membership. Instructions on how to do this will be included in the confirmation email following completing your membership sign-up on EntryCentral. Once your Direct Debit has been set up in GoCardless you should cancel your existing Standing Order, to avoid duplicate payments.
Please also remember you have to renew any race licence direct with Triathlonscotland, not through the club.
The success of all events relies on members helping out with organising, marshalling and helping in many different ways. As a member we ask you to help at these races. It's also a terrific way to meet other members! Club members certainly do race at these events but we generally ask that if you race, you provide a nominated marshall (or two) to help out.
Please take the few seconds required to complete the boxes - your club needs your help at these events.
For each sign-up, the organiser pays the Service Fee of 4% (min 50p). You pay no surcharge
