Gloucester Children's Triathlon 2017 (Tri Team Glos)

Welcome to the sign-up page for the 13th Gloucester's Chidren's Triathlon. organised by Tri Team Glos Young Triathletes.
The race is now FULL and we have an extensive waiting list. If you are already on the waiting list we will contact you to allocate any spare places/withdrawals shoudl they occur.
This triathlon is held completely with the grounds of St Thomas Rich's school. The race is open to beginners as well as experienced competitors.
The event covers the following five age categories

†Race distances approximate, no. of pool lengths and laps of bike and run course will be stipulated in Race Day Information Pack.
Please be as accurate as possible with your estimated swim time to ensure a clear swim for yourself and others. If you find that you are swimming more quickly than you estimated (congratulations!) then email us by 7th May and we will update your time. The time you give should be for the distance that you will swim on the day as shown in the table above.
The length of the swimming pool is 18m and the bike (no drafting) and run phases are held on the grass playing fields.

Entry Fee: £27.50 (For BTF members, on display of their valid photo cards at registration they will receive a £1 refund.)
NOTE: "Early Bird" Entry fee of £24.00 until 1st February!
Competitor withdrawal - Unfortunately we are unable to offer any refunds under any circumstances. Participants who fail to register for the Event will receive no refund or reserved entry for any future race or event.
Waiting List: Tri Team Glos reserves the right to select competitors from waiting list to optimise Race Waves where appropriate and therefore not necessarily in the chronological order entered.
The race may be transformed into a Aquathon e.g. on the basis of Health and Safety reasons, grass to wet for cycling. Distances will be amended where possible to those set by the BTF. No refunds will be offered if this decision has to be taken.

Please note that as race takes place on school playing fields, no dogs are permitted within the grounds except assistance dogs.
Race Schedule will be confirmed in Race Information Pack. Based on previous years, Registration commences 9:30am, Transition will be open 10:00 to 11:30am with first wave commences approximately midday. Until racing is complete, the removal of equipment from Transition area is only at the authorisation from the Transition Marshalls. Presentations will occur after last wave is completed, approximately 3:30pm. This year timing will be undertaken using chips supplied by Rogue Racer Sports Timing.
