Friends of Fladbury are pleased to be arranging the Fladbury Pie Run.

Fladbury pies & tomatoes, plus a hot dog  & cider for all runners.

Pie prize for 1st female, 1st male to finish

plus pie prizes to female & male closest to their estimated finish time.

The race is a 5 mile-ish multi-terrain course, mainly off road, along the banks of the River Avon, through Fladbury Village and Lower Moor, Worcestershire. This run is organised and hosted by The Friends of Fladbury community group.  The winter event has been a popular event in the local running calendar.  

The profits from the event will go towards community projects in Fladbury and the Prince’s Trust.

  • Entries for the race are limited to 120
  • The entry fee is £10 for UKA Affiliated Club Members, £12 for those unattached
  • Minimum age limit 15 years
  • All entrants will receive a Fladbury pork pie, tomatoes, a hot dog and cider or non- alcoholic drink
  • There will be prizes for first female and male, plus nearest to estimated time (see details below)
  • UK Athletics race licence has been applied for
  • There will be refreshments available before, during and after the race for supporters for a small cost.

The race is being held at EVG greenhouses again, off Salters Lane, Lower Moor. There are very good toilet and changing facilities but parking is limited so please share lifts if possible. 

Race start time: 7pm

Race numbers will be issued on the day from 6pm Race briefing will be 6.50pm

The route is almost entirely off road. Therefore, we recommend that appropriate running shoes are worn. There will be a water station approximately half way along the route. A map of the route can be found at https://www.goodrunguide.co.uk/RouteMap/MyRoutes/579063

Prizes will be awarded to the 1st female and 1st male across the line.  Plus prizes for the female and male who come in closest to their estimated finish time.

To ensure the safety of all runners the use of MP3 players during the race will not be allowed. This ensures all runners are aware of their surroundings and can hear instructions from the marshalls. Any runners using MP3 players will be disqualified from the race.

DATA PROTECTION: The information provided by you will be used solely for the purpose of the race. The information will only be available to members of the results team and appropriate race officials and will not be passed to any other person or agency.  EVENT CANCELLATION: The event will only be cancelled due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances. In such an eventuality all participants will be notified as soon as possible. In this event, you will be offered the opportunity to have your entry fee returned less any fees incurred by Entry Central. Alternatively, the entry fee will be considered as a donation to the community group/charity funds.
