The Beast of Bitterley off-road race

20 May 18

This will be the fourth Beast of Bitterley race following on from three previous successful runs.  The first one third of the course is uphill, over mainly rough common land, from the village of Bitterley to the summit of Titterstone Clee at 1749ft (a very prominent and well known South Shropshire landmark).  From the top, you will enjoy long views over Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire and well into Wales.  The race is then a mixture of nice long downhills and flat running over common land and fields to the finish back at Bitterley School.
There is a water point on the course.
There will be lots of encouragement from our friendly marshals and there will be entertainment and refreshments (and cake!) in the school for supporters and competitors on completion.  Previous events have attracted wonderful feedback.
There is ample well signposted parking just a few minutes walk from the school where there will be toilets.
Please make sure you read and understand you are bound by the disclaimer
